OverviewThese digital / electronic switches allow you to fully automate electric bilge pumps and have the great advantage of no moving parts to get stuck or siezed.
They operate by bilge water disrupting an electric field produced by the switch which is why they are sometimes referred to as field sensor / sensing switches.
The major benefit is that they have no moving parts and are fully sealed. They are unaffected by oil or floating debris in the bilge. Delayed activation/deactivation to avoid false starts/stops due to sloshing in the bilge.
