Overview Waste macerator pumps are designed to be used for processing and pump toliet waste They are designed to shred waste to make it easier to pump and transfer through smaller bore hoses Can be installed directly from the toilet output or on the output from the septic holding tank These pumps operate in two stages - the maceration blade shreds the toilet waste, then this is pumped by a seperate impeller pump The impeller pump is self-prim ing - which allows mounting above a holding tank Designed for intermittent use only , these pumps should not be run dry
